The development of online platforms has expanded the ways of mass communication, especially in social media. Knowledge exchange is faster and easier then ever. How does it work in virtual communities of potential and actual global leaders? Does it develop the art of listening and the skills of meaningful talking? Can it contribute to a real life positive social change?
Mapping the actual social media functions and sharing some examples, this workshop tackles the notions of networking, branding and influencing on a personal, professional and organizational level. Through a free exchange of views and experiences, the expected result is to get realistic suggestions for keeping a firm yet transparent network in different fields within the region, having in mind a vaster global community and Humphrey Fellowship values.
